Our Love Story

2016 — The First “Hi, Madam”

It all started with a simple message from Elmer: “Hi, Madam.”

Me: “I’m good. How old are you na ba, Doi?”

Elmer: “21.”

Me: “Oh my! Ang bata mo pa pala!”

And guess what? After I told him he was too young, he never replied again! Little did I know that this wasn’t the end of our story. Back then, it was just a random conversation, and neither of us knew what God had planned for us.

2020 — The Unexpected Comeback

Four years later, out of nowhere, Elmer messaged me again!

Elmer: “Hi, Madam! Asa ka diay ka karon?”

Me: “Okay lang, Makati ko.”

Who would have thought that the guy I once told was too young would find his way back into my life after four years of silence? Sometimes, God’s timing is truly different from ours. What seemed like an ordinary message became the beginning of something neither of us could have imagined.

And from that message, the rest is history.

2024 — Choosing Each Other and Choosing God

In December 2024, Elmer officially moved to Manila for work and to build our relationship together. But something even more meaningful happened during this season of our lives.

Elmer made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was water baptized. It was a beautiful and significant step in his personal faith journey, and for us as a couple, it meant so much more than words could express.

We knew that building a lasting relationship wasn’t just about loving each other; it was also about having the same foundation and direction in life. We wanted our faith to be aligned, with Jesus at the center of our relationship and our future marriage.

It was a reminder that while God was bringing our hearts closer, He was also working in our individual lives, preparing us for the commitment we would one day make before Him.

2025 — The Promise of Forever

On December 27, 2025, Elmer popped the question, turning our unexpected love story into a promise of forever.

From a simple message to an engagement, we have come to understand that love is more than just feelings. It’s a decision to grow together, extend grace, remain faithful, and keep choosing each other through every season of life.

With God at the center, we said yes not only to one another but also to a lifetime of building a home rooted in faith, love, and His grace.

2027 — From “Hi, Madam” to Husband and Wife

On May 18, 2027, we will finally say “I do” and begin a new chapter as husband and wife.

Looking back, who would have thought that a simple “Hi, Madam,” followed by four years of silence, would lead us here? What began as an unexpected reconnection became a journey of love, faith, and God’s perfect timing.

Our story reminds us that we don’t always understand God’s plans while we’re living them. Sometimes, we only see the beauty of His timing when we look back and realize how every season has brought us closer to where we’re meant to be.

From “Hi, Madam” to “I do.” From an unexpected reconnection to a love rooted in Christ. From two individual journeys of faith to one shared future with God at the center.

By His grace, our once-upon-a-time is becoming our forever.

With grateful hearts, we invite you to witness and celebrate the beginning of our marriage as we commit our lives to each other and continue walking together in faith, love, and God’s purpose for us.
