My Growing Up Story

On October 29, 2008, my story began. My parents named me Selken Nichole- a unique first name crafted in honor of my father’s first ever vessel MV SELendang KENkana. Growing up surrounded by the warm breeze of the countryside, my early years were shaped by simple joys, genuine friendships and the steady support of my family. Over the years, my personality blossomed. The curious little girl who spent her days playing and exploring gradually grew into a thoughtful, creative, and resilient young woman. Through every milestone, the unconditional love and grounded values of my parents, serve as my anchor, teaching me kindness and integrity.

 Now, on the brink of my 18th birthday, I stand at the threshold of adulthood. I have evolved into a confident individual ready to take my own path, step into new opportunities, and embrace everything the future holds. 

To my Papa and Mama, thank you for giving us a home filled with love and laughter- a sanctuary my siblings and I will always treasure.

We kindly ask our guests to honor the dress code by avoiding overly casual attire such as polo shirts, slippers, denim, jeans, and mini dresses.


Please come dressed in accordance with the specified dress code and color motif. Your thoughtful effort in dressing for the occasion will help create the elegant and harmonious atmosphere we envision for this special celebration.


We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you in your finest attire, beautifully complementing the theme of the evening.

  • RSVP

    We are so excited to celebrate my debut with you! To ensure an intimate and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have reserved seating for each guest individually. We kindly ask that each invitation is for ONE (1) PERSON ONLY.


    Please RSVP by October 10, 2026. to confirm your attendance.


    We can’t wait to share this unforgettable day with you!

  • Is there parking space available for my car?

    Yes, there is parking available for everyone at the venue. However, please take note that it is first come, first served basis, so you might not want to be late.

  • I said "NO" to the RSVP but I had a change of plans-I can attend now! What should I do?

    • Please check with us first. Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list.


    • Kindly inform us if your schedule clears up, so we can try to accommodate you.


    • If seats become available, we will let you know as soon as possible.


    • Please do not attend unannounced, as we may not have any available seats for you.

  • When is the appropriate time to leave?

    This event took us months to plan, and we want to celebrate it with the people that are very dear to our hearts. We want you to have fun! Celebrate with us until the end of the program!

  • May I invite a "PLUS ONE" to the event?

    As much as we would love to accommodate all our friends and family, we have a limited number of guests.


    Please understand that this event is strictly by invitation only. Kindly check our invitation to know the number of seats allotted for you. Guests not found on the guestlist provided will not be allowed to enter.

  • What if I RSVP'd but cannot attend?

    I would love to have you at my debut, but I understand that there are circumstances beyond our control. However, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reallocate your seat/s.

  • Can I sit anywhere at the reception?

    Please don't. It took us a lot of effort and discussion to finish the seating arrangement, which is planned for everyone's convenience and preference, but there is no need to worry! You'll surely be seated with your friends or people that you have same interest with.


    Our coordinators will gladly assist you in finding your designated seat after registration. Feel free to ask them for assistance and they will gladly help you.

  • Am I allowed to take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

    Take the photos. Take lots of them! 📸


    We want you to capture the smiles, the laughter, the outfits, the little moments, and all the memories from Selken’s special night. Snap away, post your favorites, and help us remember her 18th birthday from every angle!
