My Growing Up Story

I remember being 8, crying to my mom in the middle of the night, scared of growing up.

Ten years have passed, and I’m now turning 18.

It’s funny how the things I once feared have slowly become the things I now experience and look forward to. Growing up used to feel like having to be proper and mature all the time. But as the years went by, I realized that growing up, especially as a teenager, is truly as they say: some of the best years of your life. It also meant carrying the “little” me through every new chapter of my life.


I’ve gone through so many fun moments, embarrassing moments, unexpected friendships, mistakes, lessons, and memories I genuinely wish I could relive. Somewhere along the way, I became someone that my 8-year-old self would probably be proud to meet.

And now, here I am, standing at 18.


I still bring the “maligalig” me everywhere. The clumsy me. The expressive me. The me who cares deeply for the people around me. The me who loves experiencing something new. The me who continues to dream higher. The me who is vulnerable, yet strong.

I still don’t have everything figured out. I’m still stressed about whether I’ll pass my dream college. I still have fears about what comes next. But I’ve learned that growing up isn’t all about having the right answers. It’s about being brave enough to keep


oing, even when you don’t know what comes next.

So, to the little 8-year-old me who cried to Mama 10 years ago:

You made it. And you’re gonna be just fine.

    We are so excited to celebrate my debut with you! To ensure an intimate and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have reserved seating for each guest individually. We kindly ask that each invitation is for ONE (1) PERSON ONLY.


    Please RSVP by October 25,  2026. to confirm your attendance.


    We can’t wait to share this unforgettable day with you!

  • Is there parking space available for my car?

    Yes, there is parking available for everyone at the venue. However, please take note that it is first come, first served basis, so you might not want to be late.

  • I said "NO" to the RSVP but I had a change of plans-I can attend now! What should I do?

    • Please check with us first. Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list.


    • Kindly inform us if your schedule clears up, so we can try to accommodate you.


    • If seats become available, we will let you know as soon as possible.


    • Please do not attend unannounced, as we may not have any available seats for you.

  • When is the appropriate time to leave?

    This event took us months to plan, and we want to celebrate it with the people that are very dear to our hearts. We want you to have fun! Celebrate with us until the end of the program!

  • May I invite a "PLUS ONE" to the event?

    As much as we would love to accommodate all our friends and family, we have a limited number of guests.


    Please understand that this event is strictly by invitation only. Kindly check our invitation to know the number of seats allotted for you. Guests not found on the guestlist provided will not be allowed to enter.

  • What if I RSVP'd but cannot attend?

    I would love to have you at my debut, but I understand that there are circumstances beyond our control. However, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reallocate your seat/s.

  • Can I sit anywhere at the reception?

    Please don't. It took us a lot of effort and discussion to finish the seating arrangement, which is planned for everyone's convenience and preference, but there is no need to worry! You'll surely be seated with your friends or people that you have same interest with.


    Our coordinators will gladly assist you in finding your designated seat after registration. Feel free to ask them for assistance and they will gladly help you.

  • Am I allowed to take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

    Take the photos. Take lots of them! 📸


    We want you to capture the smiles, the laughter, the outfits, the little moments, and all the memories from Rhian’s special night. Snap away, post your favorites, and help us remember her 18th birthday from every angle!
