Our Love Story

Our journey began through a mutual friend. After a year of getting to know each other, something magical happened on the last day of February 2017. We attended a concert at FEU together, and it was there that our story truly began. I said yes, and we became a couple.

From the very start, our relationship was built on a strong foundation of friendship, trust, and appreciation. We supported each other through life’s challenges and celebrated each other’s victories, always striving to grow together as a team.


When the pandemic struck, it brought us even closer. We spent our days cooking meals together, sharing our dreams, and setting goals for the future. Over time, we became part of each other’s families. Khristy was warmly welcomed into Raphael’s family, and Raphael became a beloved member of Khristy’s.

As the years passed, our bond only grew stronger. Together, we explored the Philippines, traveled abroad, hiked the mountains of Luzon, and embraced life’s ups and downs. We learned to appreciate each other’s strengths and weaknesses, accepting one another wholeheartedly and continuing to build a foundation of love, trust, and understanding.


Fast forward to August 2024. After separate trips—Khristy to Vietnam with friends and Raphael to Davao with his own group—Raphael found himself reflecting deeply on our future. After two weeks apart, we planned a date night to share our stories and catch up. That evening became the most unforgettable moment of our lives. Raphael popped the question and asked, “Will you marry me?” Without hesitation, I said yes.


Seven years together have been filled with laughter, trust, shared dreams, and countless moments of joy. We’ve worked side by side to turn our dreams into reality. Now, as we prepare for this next chapter, we are excited to build our future together as husband and wife.

    We are so excited to celebrate our wedding day with you! To ensure an intimate and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have reserved seating for each guest individually. We kindly ask that each invitation is for ONE (1) PERSON ONLY.


    Please RSVP by March 31, 2025 to confirm your attendance.


    We can’t wait to share this unforgettable day with you!

  • I said "NO" to the RSVP but I had a change of plans-I can attend now! What should I do?

    • Please check with us first. Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list.


    • Kindly inform us if your schedule clears up, so we can try to accommodate you.


    • If seats become available, we will let you know as soon as possible.


    • Please do not attend unannounced, as we may not have any available seats for you.

  • When is the appropriate time to leave?

    This event took us months to plan, and we want to celebrate it with the people that are very dear to our hearts. We want you to have fun! Celebrate with us until the end of the program!

  • How can I help the couple have a great time during their wedding?

    • Pray with us for favorable weather and the continuous blessings of our Lord as we enter this new chapter of our lives as husband and wife.
    • RSVP as soon as your schedule is cleared.
    • Dress appropriately and follow our wedding motif.
    • Be on time.
    • Follow the seating arrangement in the reception.
    • Stay until the end of the program.
    • Join the activities and enjoy!

  • Transportation

    Transportation will be provided from the hotel to the church, to the reception, and back to the hotel.

  • Travel

    Getting There:

    The quickest and most convenient way to travel to Batanes from Manila or Clark is by plane.


    Airlines: Philippine Airlines is the only airline currently offering flights to Batanes.


    Airports: Flights depart from either Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila or Clark International Airport and arrive at Basco Airport in Batanes.


    Flight Duration: The flight takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Manila. From Clark, flight duration is around 1 hour and 20 minutes.

  • May I invite a "PLUS ONE" to the event?

    As much as we would love to accommodate all our friends and family, we have a limited number of guests.



    Please understand that this event is strictly by invitation only. Kindly check our invitation to know the number of seats allotted for you. Guests not found on the guestlist provided will not be allowed to enter.

  • What if I RSVP'd but cannot attend?

    We would love to have you at our wedding, but we understand that there are circumstances beyond our control. However, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reallocate your seat/s.

  • Can I sit anywhere at the reception?

    Please don't. It took us a lot of effort and discussion to finish the seating arrangement, which is planned for everyone's convenience and preference, but there is no need to worry! You'll surely be seated with your friends or people that you have same interest with.



    Our coordinators will gladly assist you in finding your designated seat after registration. Feel free to ask them for assistance and they will gladly help you.

  • Am I allowed to take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

    We kindly ask that everyone keep the ceremony camera-free. While our “I Do’s” will be unplugged, the reception will be full of opportunities to capture beautiful moments. As a couple who loves photos, we’ve made sure there will be plenty of chances for you to take pictures and create lasting memories. We’ve poured our hearts into preparing for this special day, and we can't wait to celebrate it with you!

  • Do we really need to RSVP? We already said "YES" to the couple.

    Yes, please. We will be needing your formal RSVP to consolidate guest details and finalize the headcount for catering and seating purposes.

    For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at Bernardo’s Hotel. When making your reservation, please mention our wedding to receive a discounted rate. Alternatively, feel free to reach out to us, and we’d be happy to assist you with your booking.

  • Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

    Yes, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing black, white, or beige (for the ladies).

  • What kind of shoes should/shouldn’t I wear?

    Ladies, we highly recommend leaving your stiletto heels at home! Since the venue has a grassy surface, we suggest wearing chunky heels or sandals instead. We wouldn’t want anyone damaging their shoes—or risking an injury!


  • How will food and drinks be served?

    During the cocktail hour, light snacks and drinks will be provided.


    For the reception, dinner will be served assisted-buffet style.

  • What if I have dietary restrictions?

    If you have any dietary restrictions, please contact the bride or groom ahead of time so we can inform our wedding coordinators and accommodate your needs.

  • Are kids welcome?

    As much as we love your little ones, we’ve decided to keep the ceremony and reception adults-only. This will allow everyone to relax and enjoy the festivities to the fullest. Thank you for understanding, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns!

  • Will there be any activities I should know about?
