Our Love Story

In the sweet city of Panay blossomed a sweet love story of Freeza and Mike. Freeza is relatively a newcomer in Passi City. She is one of those what we call a pangayaw. She came to Passi to work at the Legal Office of the City Government and made few friends there. Mike, on the other hand, is a businessman born and raised in Passi. He is one of those what we call a tumandok.

One fine day, their paths crossed when Freeza bought soft drinks from the store Mike mans and manages. Freeza saw a fine man at the counter, while Mike found himself captivated by the cute fair lady in front of her paying. They felt instant attraction, but as many of us does in such situations, they let the moment slip away. However, Cupid had other plans.

A few days thereafter, Freeza casually met up with her group of friends at the house on A. Panes St. Among the group is Mike’s younger brother, Babap. Her unsettled curiosity as to who the fine man is prompted her to ask Babap who he was. What started as a seemingly innocent inquiry led to playful teasing and laughter among the group but she managed to learn his name.

Unbeknownst to her, Mike was equally curious about the fair lady he had encountered. Fortunately, they were surrounded by mutual friends who acted as a bridge for their connection. Among this common friend is Patrick. He and Babap gave Mike Freeza’s Facebook account.

Weeks went by without a friend request, leaving Freeza puzzled. Meanwhile, Mike was mustering up the courage to click the request button. When he did, little did he know he took that first step toward transforming this budding romance into a reality.

Their relationship evolved from casual greetings through chat to constant communication. They got to know each other, and before long, they exchanged “I love you's "and officially became a couple. Together, they embarked on group trips, supported each other's dreams, and stood by one another during tough and sorrowful times.

Amidst the breathtaking view of Batanes with the mountains, cows and clouds as their witness, the fine man proposed to the fair lady to spend their lives together. And yes! Here we are, filled with joy and excitement, ready to witness them say “I do!”.
