Our Love Story

The love story of Mark Gil and Mhekka—a journey of faith, patience, and joy.

Their story began almost five years ago. Mark Gil would occasionally message Mhekka, but their conversations were simple and casual, never hinting at the deep connection they would eventually share.

During this time, Mark Gil was praying to God to meet the love of his life. And then, in God’s perfect timing, she came into his life. On February 15, 2021, he decided to message her again. This time, everything changed. They started talking about life, sharing stories, and bonding over their experiences.

One unexpected thing that brought them closer was their shared love for Mobile Legends. Every night, they played together. Mhekka would patiently wait for Mark Gil to get home just so they could play. They turned on their microphones, not just to strategize but also to hear each other’s voices. As days went by, they realized they felt lighter and happier whenever they talked. Eventually, even when they weren’t gaming, they would video call, sharing their stories, jokes, laughter, and even their frustrations.

On May 9, 2021, they met in person for the first time at SM North. That day felt magical, one they both cherish deeply. After that, their bond grew even stronger. Mark Gil confessed his feelings to her, and she shared hers with him as well. It was then that he began courting her—a beautiful year-long pursuit filled with love and patience.

Then, on June 5, 2022, on her birthday, something extraordinary happened. Mhekka said yes to Mark Gil, making it one of the happiest moments of his life. It was the beginning of their journey as a couple.

They grew closer with each passing day, learning more about each other and building a strong foundation for their relationship. Fast forward to June 5, 2024, they celebrated their second anniversary in a way that marked the next chapter of their love story. Mark Gil, with the help of Mhekka’s family, planned a surprise for her. On that day, he got down on one knee and proposed. She said yes! It was the best “yes” of his life, filling his heart with immeasurable joy.

Now, as they prepare for their big day, Mark Gil and Mhekka continue to pray together, trusting God to guide their path and bless their marriage. They face challenges hand in hand, enjoying every step of this beautiful journey.

And today, surrounded by family and friends, they are ready to celebrate the love story that God has written for them—a story filled with faith, hope, and unconditional love. Thank you for being here to witness this special moment.

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding day with you! To ensure an intimate and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have reserved seating for each guest individually. We kindly ask that each invitation is for ONE (1) PERSON ONLY.

Please RSVP by January 10, 2025 to confirm your attendance.

Is there parking space available for my car?

Yes, there is parking available for everyone at the venue. However, please take note that it is first come, first served basis, so you might not want to be late.
I said "NO" to the RSVP but I had a change of plans-I can attend now! What should I do?

• Please check with us first. Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list.

• Kindly inform us if your schedule clears up, so we can try to accommodate you.

• If seats become available, we will let you know as soon as possible.

• Please do not attend unannounced, as we may not have any available seats for you.
When is the appropriate time to leave?

This event took us months to plan, and we want to celebrate it with the people that are very dear to our hearts. We want you to have fun! Celebrate with us until the end of the program!
How can I help the couple have a great time during their wedding?
- Pray with us for favorable weather and the continuous blessings of our Lord as we enter this new chapter of our lives as husband and wife.
- RSVP as soon as your schedule is cleared.
- Dress appropriately and follow our wedding motif.
- Be on time.
- Follow the seating arrangement in the reception.
- Stay until the end of the program.

May I invite a "PLUS ONE" to the event?

As much as we would love to accommodate all our friends and family, we have a limited number of guests.

Please understand that this event is strictly by invitation only. Kindly check our invitation to know the number of seats allotted for you. Guests not found on the guestlist provided will not be allowed to enter.
What if I RSVP'd but cannot attend?

We would love to have you at our wedding, but we understand that there are circumstances beyond our control. However, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reallocate your seat/s.
Can I sit anywhere at the reception?

Please don't. It took us a lot of effort and discussion to finish the seating arrangement, which is planned for everyone's convenience and preference, but there is no need to worry! You'll surely be seated with your friends or people that you have same interest with.

Our coordinators will gladly assist you in finding your designated seat after registration. Feel free to ask them for assistance and they will gladly help you.
Am I allowed to take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

We request everyone to keep the ceremony camera-free. While our I Do’s are unplugged, our reception is not and definitely as a couple who loves pictures, you’ll get tons of options to take your pictures. We prepared for this event wholeheartedly.
