Our Love Story

Who would have thought that a simple "eeooww pows" would blossom into a beautiful and enduring love story


Jojo and Laila's journey began on September 6, 2006, when they first connected as text mates, thanks to Florence, Jojo's childhood friend's sister and Laila's schoolmate. After exchanging messages, they decided to meet in front of Laila's school, Rizal College of Laguna. Despite their young age causing on-and-off communication, they officially became a couple on April 1, 2009.


Due to Laila's strict parents, the couple kept their relationship hidden from 2009 to 2016, until Laila graduated from college. These years were filled with countless moments of excitement, misunderstandings, late-night calls, and secret text messages that Laila had to carefully conceal from her parents. Their terms of endearment evolved over time, ranging from "Daddy/Ma" to "Mhacoh," "Love," "Agum," and many more.


After Laila secured her first job, she finally introduced Jojo formally as her boyfriend on January 21, 2017. From that point on, both families supported their relationship. The couple's love story reached a new milestone on January 1, 2023, when Jojo proposed, and Laila joyfully accepted.


Now, as they celebrate 16 years together, Jojo and Laila are preparing to exchange their vows on April 26th, marking the beginning of their new chapter as husband and wife.

  • RSVP

    We are so excited to celebrate our wedding day with you! To ensure an intimate and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have reserved seating for each guest individually. We kindly ask that each invitation is for ONE (1) PERSON ONLY.



    Please RSVP by April 12, 2025 to confirm your attendance.



    We can’t wait to share this unforgettable day with you!

  • Where can we park our cars?

    Yes, there is parking available for everyone at the venue. However, please take note that it is first come, first served basis, so you might not want to be late.

  • I Said 'Yes" but can no longer attend. What should I do?

    While we would love to celebrate with you, we understand that life happens.

     please let us know right away so we can reallocate your seats


  • When is the appropriate time to leave?

    We would try to end the program by 4:00pm, but if you must leave early, please try to do so after the Same Day Edit (SDE) has been played.

  • Can I Bring plus one?

    We have reserved one (1) seat for each person we've sent an invite to. We will personally reach out to guests  with multiple seats allocated.

     Only names that can be searched in our RSVP site have been allocated seats for the reception.

     As much as we want to celebrate with everyone, we can only accommodate a limited number of guest

  • What time should we arrive for the Ceremony?

    Please be at the church around 9:30 am, processional will stat by then. The Mass will start at exactly 10:00am.

    We don't want you to miss our "I dos!"

  • I Said 'Yes" but can no longer attend. What should I do?

    While we would love to celebrate with you, we understand that life happens.

     please let us know right away so we can reallocate your seats.

  • What should I wear?

    We want everyone to feel and look amazing, Wear anything you want in Semi Formal.

     Our only request is to align your dress color to our Motif

  • Am I allowed to take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

    We request everyone to keep the ceremony camera-free. While our I Do’s are unplugged, our reception is not and definitely as a couple who loves pictures, you’ll get tons of options to take your pictures. We prepared for this event wholeheartedly.

  • Is public transport available between the church and reception venues?

    Should you need to commute from the church to reception venue, there are available Tricycles outside the church

    Just tell them, going to Gulod or Marinig and you are heading to Queen Aurora Resort

  • What time will the reception start?

    Cocktails will start around 12:00 pm, Photobooth will also open that time

  • Is there an afterparty?

    We will announce the after party plans during the reception. Please stay tuned

  • Who do we get in touch with if were unable to contact you on the day?

    Please understand that we may not able to answer you during our wedding day since we'll be busy with the preparations.
