Our Love Story

Where It All Started

Our story didn’t begin with a modern dating app or a chance meeting at a coffee shop—it

actually goes all the way back to the classrooms of La Paz Elementary School. Back in Grade 2,

long before either of us really knew what love was, I became his very first crush. We grew up, life

went on, but that sweet childhood memory never really faded for him.

The Years of Waiting

Fast forward to 2013. He started sending me messages on Facebook Messenger every now and

then, just checking in and trying to start a conversation. To be completely honest, I wasn't

interested at the time! For years, his messages were left unread or unanswered. But looking back

now, I have to give him credit—he never lost hope and kept trying, always with gentle

persistence.

The Happy Accident

Then came early 2019. In a complete twist of fate—or maybe just a moment of accidental

curiosity—I tapped on a notification on Messenger and opened his message by mistake. Instead

of closing it, I decided to reply. That single, accidental reply turned into a quick conversation,

which turned into hours of talking, endless laughter, and a connection that caught us both by

surprise.

Making It Official

What started as a mistake on a smartphone screen quickly became the best decision of our lives.

On May 19, 2019, we officially became a couple. Over the next six years, we grew together,

learned from each other, and built a love that felt effortless and true.

The Proposal & Our Next Chapter

On May 18, 2025—almost six years to the day we started dating—he asked me to marry him,

turning a childhood crush into a promise of forever.

Now, we are so excited to celebrate our love with all of our favorite people as we tie the knot on

December 8, 2026. We can’t wait to start this next chapter of our lives as husband and wife!
