Our Love Story
From Jollibee to Forever 💖
It all began in 2008, on what seemed like an ordinary day. Little did we know, it would mark the start of something extraordinary. We were both at Jollibee, processing our employment requirements, just going through the motions. I was sitting there, bored out of my mind, when I noticed him across the room. There was something about him—maybe it was his smile, or the way he carried himself—but I decided to break the silence and take a chance.
“Hey, are you here for Jollibee too?” I asked.
That simple question turned out to be the beginning of everything. We started chatting, and before we knew it, we realized we had mutual friends. The next thing I knew, my phone buzzed with a message—yep, it was Dulci! He had somehow found a way to continue the conversation beyond that first encounter.
From that moment on, we couldn’t stop talking. But I wasn’t going to make it easy on him. I told him, “If you’re serious, you need to court me for a year.” And guess what? He was totally up for the challenge—and I was KILIG! 💖
A year later, we officially became a couple, and that’s when we started dreaming together about the beautiful future we’d build. But love isn’t always smooth sailing, right? We’ve faced our fair share of ups and downs—moments when it felt like everything was against us, and when giving up seemed easier than holding on. But we always held on, together.
We call ourselves “Tom and Jerry” because, let’s be real, we argue over the silliest things. 😜 But you know what? No matter how many disagreements we have, we always come back to each other. Every challenge, every silly fight, has only made us stronger, and we always, always make up.
What we’ve learned along the way is that love isn’t just about the easy moments. It’s about patience, understanding, and communication. There were times when the road felt bumpy, and life tested us, but we pushed through. Through it all, we laughed, we grew, and we supported each other.
We’ve traveled the world, witnessed the beauty of life in its many forms, and built memories that are too precious for words. Looking back, we are filled with gratitude for everything we’ve achieved and everything we’ve become as a couple. 🌍✈️
Now, here we are—happy, stronger than ever, and ready to start the next chapter of our journey together: building our own family. 💑👶
